About Grianan House

Recently built and beautifully finished self catering homes from home. Sleeps up to six.
Open all year.

Located on the shore in the village of Kildonan with the best view on the Isle of Arran.

Authentic guest statement:

Another lovely week in Kildonan. The view is still beautiful and the house is as nice as it always is. Look forward to coming back.”

The houses are set in very large grounds, ideal for children’s play.
Early risers may see two large hares enjoying our shrubbery. The seals on the rocks are so close you can hear them. And then there is Hector, a magnificent cock pheasant who thinks he owns the place.

Kildonan has an excellent Village Store and a friendly bar and fine restaurant in the Kildonan Hotel (reservations a must in the high season).

Grianan House sleeps up to six, with bedrooms downstairs and lounge and dining upstairs to better enjoy the view from the balcony. There are three bedrooms, one double and two twins. Two have ensuite shower and w/c and there is a main bathroom. In sympathy with allergy sufferers we wish to keep the House both smoke free and pet free.

Both house have fully equipped kitchens with ceramic hob and oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, and microwave oven. There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer in the entrance porch.

The lounges are furnished with settees and chairs, have Sky TV and a selection of books, videos, DVD’s and CD’s.

Central Heating, bed linen and towels are included in the rental. Cot and high chair are available by prior arrangement.
